Advantages and disadvantages for online recruitment;
Advantages;
• It’s a faster way to full out an application
• The job is open to more people as it is posted online
• There are job hunting companies that will send your online applications to potential employees
• Easier to compare different results online rather than on paper
• Easier to filter through when checking each application as you can filter people who answered a certain way to certain questions.
Disadvantages:
• Impossible to tell what people are really like without a face to face
• Hard to tell if people are just answering the way they think you want the questions answered
• Anybody can get a hold of an application
• It is not limited to just persons in the local area
• You can’t set a personal criteria if the application is on the internet
